February 26, 2020 (Auburn, KY) - Champion Petfoods, a leading maker of premium pet foods, today announced the launch of 3 new pet food lines as global demand for its high-quality dog and cat food continues to grow. The new lines include 1 new dog food recipe, ORIJEN Small Breed; 1 new cat food recipe, ACANA Cat; and an enhanced recipe of its ACANA Singles line, offering our most advanced limited ingredient diet (LID) available.
Today, with more and more consumers moving into urban areas with smaller living spaces, Pet Lovers are increasingly turning to small breed dogs as pets. ORIJEN Small Breed is specially formulated to support a small dog’s immune system and joint mobility for active living and healthy aging. Its benefit-rich recipe is designed to offer a diet that is brimming with animal protein from free-run chicken, turkey, and quail, and three kinds of whole, wild-caught fish, providing a food that is packed with flavor and nutrients.
For Pet Lovers with cats, Champion is announcing four new ACANA Cat recipes and three enhanced recipes which contain quality fresh ingredients, enhanced antioxidants to support a healthy immune system, and freeze-dry coated kibble for a taste that cats crave.
