ACANA is formulated to help prevent struvite urinary crystals (crystalluria or bladder stones) from forming in the bladder.  As a struvite is made of magnesium, ammonium and phosphate, ACANA's reduced magnesium levels and urine acidifiers help dissolve struvite crystals and prevent stones from forming in the bladder.
